Dan joined the Palitto Consulting Services, Inc. (PCS) team in October, 1998 as a career change from finance and sales positions in the Cleveland area. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Miami University with a major in Finance. The story of how Dan came into contact with PCS is unique. His wife Debbie was working at a PCS customer and she thought her husband would be a great asset to the PCS team! Since joining PCS, Dan helped found and grow Small Business Technologies, Inc. (SBT). SBT is focused on serving the unique needs of small businesses. He particularly enjoys the variety of opportunities and challenges afforded as a consultant and an account manager. His passion is helping businesses achieve their goals through the effective use of technology. Dan is NET+ certified and is also certified in a number of vendor specific technologies including offerings from Shoretel, VMWare, Netgear and Microsoft. He is a Cisco Certified Sales Expert and has earned the ITIL V3 Foundation certification. Most recently Dan has received a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification. Dan serves as a mentor in the PCS and SBT teams. He also serves on the PCS, SBT and Intelligent Systems Integration, Inc. (ISI) leadership teams. Dan has served on the Advisory Committee for the IT curriculum at ITT Tech in Strongsville, OH for the past 9 years. He is a member of the Northeast Ohio Small Business Server Partner Group and also volunteers for Junior Achievement of America. Customers often express their appreciation of Dan’s caring attitude. He is often described as “empathetic.” Customers also appreciate his willingness to create solutions within their budget. One of Dan’s exceptional strengths is in his ability to explain the business benefit and return on investment (ROI) of a technology to a non-technology person. Dan enjoys traveling across the country and abroad with his family. They have visited Italy, Switzerland, France and Scotland along with a good number of U.S destinations as well. He is also heavily involved in leadership roles in his church and the Tres Dias Christian Community. Continuing his first love of his younger days, he always keeps an eye out for local and professional soccer activities and spends several evenings each week at a local gym.

Laurie joined the PCS team as a Junior Programmer in August of 1999. She currently is the Office Manager and provides world class customer service and support for PCS, SBT and Computer Surgeon clients. She assists the entire team of PCS consultants as needed with various projects. Many times Laurie will serve as the liaison between the client and the consultant to facilitate the completion of a project. Laurie’s responsibilities include answering the phones, scheduling appointments, preparing quotes, purchasing equipment and keeping the office running smoothly and efficiently. Laurie and her husband, Darin, live in Rittman. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Trent joined the PCS team in mid 2010, after graduating from Owens Community College where he earned a degree in Networking and Information Systems Support. Currently, Trent is working towards Microsoft Certifications and is continuing his education in vendor specific software. Trent's work at PCS is focused primarily on network and pc support. He deals with virus removal, client software installation and configuration, network troubleshooting, and solving printer issues. He is also responsible for many of the hardware repair jobs commissioned by our partner company, Computer Surgeon. Very motivated by customer satisfaction, Trent comes to Palitto Consulting Services with a strong proficiency in customer service and computer hardware. In his spare time Trent enjoys spending time focusing on his relationship with his Lord and Savior and the young group from his church, biking and walking, and spending as much time as possible with his growing family of nieces so far!

Steve has spent his entire career in the IT industry after earning a 2 year IT degree from Holmesglen College in his hometown of Melbourne, Australia. He started his career as a programmer before finding his true calling in network consulting and administration. He began working for PCS in Feb 2002 after moving from Melbourne in the summer of 2001. Steve earned an MCSA in Windows 2000 technologies and an MCP in Microsoft Exchange 2003. Upcoming plans include certifications in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008. “Being a consultant allows me to meet a lot of different people and work within different industries which I enjoy,” he comments in his familiar cheerful accent. Steve also adds that he likes interacting with people and helping his customers keep up with technology. Clients seeking help with any sort of Windows server or Active Directory issues readily call upon Steve to guide them in the right direction. His combination of technical expertise and conversational personality are a big hit at numerous companies throughout Northeast Ohio. Steve and his wife Kim moved to Uniontown, OH in 2008 where they raise their children George, Julia and James. Steve enjoys spending time with his family along with following the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Australian National Soccer Team. He also coaches his son George’s U-6 soccer team at the local club. Last but certainly not least, he is very excited about earning his US citizenship sometime in the first half of 2010.
